A piece of my kitchen ceiling just fell onto my kitchen floor. I wish I had a digital camera, I would take a picture and post it.
For the last two months, every time it's rained, water has poured in through one of the windowsills in the kitchen, and the ceiling has been starting to sag, and had a crack in it. We put a tupperware under the leak, and called the management company. They apparently decided it wasn't important because they never came to fix it.
There have been some particularly heavy thunderstorms this past week, and the crack was sagging more and more, and one side was sagging more than the other, so we called the management company again. About thirty seconds after Emily got off the phone, a 1 foot by 2 foot slab of ceiling crashed down. I yelped.
The roof is still up, so it's not too, too bad, but all this gross dust came down with the chunk of ceiling as well. Who knows what delicious things are in there-- asbestos, lead... Good thing I'm moving out in less than two weeks. Blarg. I should get packing.
